It was 1993 when Enrico Martellozzo, a member of a family with an ancient winemaking heritage, took over the Bellussi company in Valdobbiadene (TV). Bellussi is based in Valdobbiadene, a hilltop village in the province of Treviso, which, together with the nearby municipality of Conegliano, is located in the historic production area of Prosecco. The Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene have been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2019 and the wine product from which they take their name obtained DOCG recognition in 2010.
